Swati Parashar is Professor in Peace and Development at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She is the author of Women and Militant Wars: The Politics of Injury (2014), co-author of Ripping, Cutting, Stitching: Feminist Knowledge Destruction and Creation in Global Politics (2023) and co-editor of Revisiting Gendered States: Feminist Imaginings of the State in International Relations (2018).
