Suzanne Stewart writes song lyrics, poems and short plays which have been performed at local festivals in the Bristol area. She is generally interested in music, and has been a drummer, which tends to creep into her stories! She also writes articles about cats, family life and school stories; they have been published in various magazines under the name of Sue Weekes. Sue belongs to a writing group, Café Corner Writers, which has produced anthologies they also use for performances - the most recent one is 'Beauty and The Beast'. She's also coordinated a songwriting collective, Act of Faith, and worked on literacy projects in schools and adult educational centres. Since leaving her full-time job as a careers adviser, Sue has had more time to concentrate on her writing, and has now completed a young adult novel set in the Bronze Age, but with a modern twist - 'Rowan The Dreamweaver'. This is meant to be the first in a trilogy, and she has already started working on Book 2.You can find out more about Sue's writing through her Facebook page: facebook.com/rowanthedreamweaver See less
