Susan Booysen

Susan Booysen is Professor Emeritus at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), and a visiting professor at the Wits School of Governance. She is the author of several books on the ANC, including Precarious Power (2021), Dominance and Decline (2015) and The ANC and the Regeneration of Political Power (2011). Marriages of Inconvenience is her fourth edited book. Booysen is Director of Research at the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection(MISTRA).
