Her first novel was published by Michael Joseph in 1969. This was followed by six more, published in hardback and paperback in UK and USA. Other work includes travel writing, television drama, and wildlife and children's books illustrated by her husband Peter. In the 1990s she trained as a humanistic counsellor and gestalt psychotherapist. After some years running a private practice, she returned to writing by doing an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa. She has mentored new writers, held creative writing workshops at home, and in 2010 established a website for the writers and readers of quality fiction. Her early novels can be found on Amazon, in print as well as in Kindle editions. Besides her present work of non-fiction, Alive in World War Two, she has also produced two recent novels, White Lies and A Home from Home, as print-on-demand with CreateSpace. See less
