Summer Nilsson is the award-winning creator of the Loodor Tales Series. She is a bestselling author, speaker, founder, and marketing veteran. With a career spanning 25 years, Summer is nationally recognized for building brands and partnerships that change narratives. Summer founded Loodor to target youth with storylines that support mental health. The Loodor Tales Series launched with back-to-back bestsellers, The Land of The Pines and its sequel, The Land of the Strays . Told through the eyes of animals, the Loodor Tales Series engages audiences of all ages within a world designed to instill self-worth. Inspired by the Loodor Tales Series, Summer built the "HOO Are You?" education platform to further fuel an ongoing movement of connection. The "HOO Are You?" school tours and curriculum accommodate elementary, junior high, and high school students. Summer also co-founded the Nilsson Open A Dor Foundation, a 501C3, to help adolescents navigate the undercurrent of a modern world. The foundation funds programs that support mental health, youth, and animals. Summer is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, with degrees in Marketing, Advertising, and Psychology.
