Sumio Harada
Sumio Harada was born in Japan. He studied biology at the Tokyo University of Agriculture. In 1987 to 1989, Sumio spent 18 months in the Rocky Mountains of Canada and the United States photographing mountain goats. These photographs earned him the Anima Award, given to a single distinguished wildlife photographer each year in Japan. Sumio and his family moved to the U.S. in 1994, and since then he has spent much of his time in the Rocky Mountains, particularly in and near Glacier National Park....See more
