Steven Fawkes has worked in energy management for over 25 years. As a consultant he advised many clients including private sector companies, local authorities, the UK and Romanian governments, the European Union, the United States Agency for International Development, the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank. He co-founded two energy service companies, Energy-Serv S.A. in Romania and RWE Solutions in the UK (now part of the RWE npower group). With RWE he developed and implemented innovative energy service contracts with leading companies including Sainsbury's and Diageo that led to significant energy savings and reduction in carbon emissions.
