Stephen Bray is an author, a photographer, a systemic business consultant and a psychotherapist. His concern for the environment caused him to retreat, with his family, to a private Mediterranean Beach for the first ten years of his daughter's life. When she matured, he moved to Hartland, Devon in the U.K. so that she could attend The Small School, an independent charitable enterprise founded by environmentalist Satish Kumar. He founded Istanbul's first Family Therapy training clinic, and created a course for counseling and psychology professionals. He also helped many young survivors of the 1999 Turkish earthquake, as well as the adults working with them; this lead to a book narrating the experiences of volunteering during the emergency. 'Bir Deprem Sonsuz Fark1ndal1k', (One Earthquake Infinite Awareness), discusses the effects upon the volunteer's family and relationships, as well as providing guidance for further emergencies. In 2012 he helped volunteers to gather funds and build an ecological school building on a shoe string budget. The building is currently used as a school refectory and nursery. He is currently involved with the Hartland Home Education Network in Devon, U.K. Stephen is also the author of Photography and Psychoanalysis: The evolution of emotional persuasion in image making, and Photography and Zen: Discovering your true nature through photography. He is also co-author, with Joseph Sinclair, of An ABC of NLP. With Michael Eldridge he founded the Trees and Sky movement, which is devoted to getting people to notice their surroundings and get out into nature. Stephen also offers workshops in Awareness within Non-duality, and Photography and Awareness. He continues to offer business and individual consultations, as well as manage the on-line therapy service of his wife and partner Irem Bray. See less
