Stephen B. Shepard is the Founding Dean Emeritus of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York. A native New Yorker, Shepard graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, then received his bachelor's degree from the City College of New York and his master's degree from Columbia University.
