Skyler Farasat is a young, female author of 5 sweet and empowering picture books from California, USA. She is currently 10 years old and a 5th grader, and has newly published her 5th book "Georgina - An enchanting coloring book and story about friendship, traveling, and life's changing seasons" that brings mindfulness and art relaxation. In 2023, Skye's family helped her complete and publish her first 4 books for kids of all ages that immerse the readers gently into SEL (Social Emotional Learning) like practicing the powerful life skills of observation, acceptance, gratitude, deep breathing, mindfulness and meditation. Skye has been meditating with her parents since she was a baby. Skyler is highlighted on "Leaders Who Care(R)" series that feature industry leaders that intentionally align their brand with social impact leader because they truly care about people and the wellbeing of the world. Skyler is the youngest leader featured thus far, and she also will be the youngest Ambassador of "Million Peacemakers" - an organization that amplifies global peacemaking by coaching adults and youth how to powerfully transform their conflict into "Nonflict" by practicing active listening. Skye devotes her time writing articles as a contributor and reading her books to our local community at Shriners Children's Hospitals, FosterHope Sacramento, Fairytale Town, and schools. Skyler's books are loved by enriching schools, counselors and librarians that deeply care about their students' SEL outcomes, and by parents, and kids of all ages. After reading her books, kids express that they breathe deeper and feel better as Skye's books gently lead kids on the journey of how to build their self-esteem and self-love, and how to accept life just as it is - imperfectly perfect.
