Shelley Pierce

Shelley Pierce was born in rural Minnesota. While most of her childhood was in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, her middle-grade years were experienced in Louisiana. Growing up with influences of extreme differences continues to impact her writing. Shelley and her husband, Tommy, live in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.
