His practice focuses exclusively on plastic surgery of the face, head and neck and encompasses a broad spectrum of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Desai's research interests include novel methods of microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck using innovative technology, and he is one on a team of surgeons hoping to perform a series of Face Transplants at Johns Hopkins.
