Sharon Harris
Sharon Harris was born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, and still lives near there. She cherishes childhood memories of going to a country school, bringing cows home from pasture, sleeping on a screened-in porch in summer, and listening to loon calls and the chorus of frogs in the spring. These memories of an idyllic childhood influence her writing. Sharon Harris was born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, and still lives near there. These memories of an idyllic childhood influence her writing. She has had more that 180 poems published in various publications including The Talking Stick, Dust & Fire, Lake Country Journal, etc. This is her third book of poetry. She is a long-time member of the Jackpine Writers' Bloc in north central Minnesota. Since 2003, she and her niece, Tarah Wolff, have co-edited the annual Talking Stick books. See less
