Shankar Acharya

As Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India (1993-2001), Shankar Acharya was deeply involved in the economic reforms of the 1990s. He later served as a Member of the Prime Minister s Advisory Council (2001-03) and the Twelfth Finance Commission (2004).
