Shane Malloy is a columnist and broadcaster who has been covering hockey prospects, scouting, and player development for the past decade. His passion for the game and involvement in assessing hockey talent at every level, from grass-roots minor hockey to the National Hockey League, has gained the trust of many hockey insiders (scouts, coaches, GMs, journalists and broadcasters), and admittance into their ranks. He is currently a columnist covering hockey for TSN.ca (Prospect Insider) and he co-hosts three hockey radio shows on XM Satellite Radio (Home Ice 204), Hockey Prospect Radio, Business of Hockey and The Goalie Show. As well, he is a scout and consultant on the NHL video game for Electronic Arts. Previously he has been a columnist for Fox Sports and NHL.com along with being a feature columnist for Goalie News, CNN/SI, The Sporting News and CHL Prospects Magazine. He has also contributed to several NHL team websites. Shane appears regularly on TV and radio to talk about hockey, prospects, and scouting, including TSN's Off the Record and Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown.
