Shamim Meer is a founding member of both SPEAK magazine and AGENDA - A Journal on Women and Gender, is still part of the SPEAK collective. She has written widely on women's issues. Her recent work includes contributing to The Women's Budget Book and editing Women, Land and Authority - Perspectives from South Africa (Oxfam UK and David Philip).
