Sebastian Horsley

Sebastian Horsley was an artist, writer and self-declared dandy, who was born in Yorkshire in 1962. In his memoir Dandy in the Underworld , published in 2007, he describes his dysfunctional upbringing and the highs and lows of his wild life as an adult. Also in 2007, the Spectrum London gallery mounted a retrospective of his art. His book was adapted as a play by Tim Fountain and opened at the Soho Theatre in London in June 2010, just before he died of an overdose.
