Seamas O Cathain
Séamas Ó Catháin is a lecturer in the Department of Irish Folklore at University College, Dublin. He has travelled widely in all the Scandinavian countries and collected folklore among the Lapps in Norway. He is also an assistant editor of 'Béaloideas', the Journal of the Folklore of Ireland Society. He has written and presented over sixty radio programmes on folklore and frequently contributes to Irish radio and television as a spokesman on folklore matters.
