A former Captain in the United States Marine Corps and Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) officer, Scott is Vice-President and General Counsel for Eller and Olsen Stone Company in Nashville. He is a founding board member of the Spina Bifida Foundation and a past vice-chair of the Lipscomb University Board of Trust; he has served in leadership for the Spina Bifida Association of Tennessee, Mental Health Association of Tennessee, and Tennessee Easter Seals.
