Scott Gibala-Broxholm was born in a castle laboratory one dark and stormy night...no, not really. (Actually, it was Upstate New York.) Growing up, he loved to draw, especially pictures of old movie monsters. In the eighth grade, he even met master of fright films Vincent Price. Scott is a graduate of Syracuse University and spent his junior year studying in London. He has been illustrating for children for over thirty years. He and his wife, Janice, have two frightfully good children, Brent and Tess, and one cat, Sabrina. When not working, Scott likes to spend time with the family, read, exercise, and watch old movies. One day, he hopes to work with director Tim Burton (Hint, Hint). See less
