Scott Cochrane

Scott Cochrane is from a family of Irish immigrants native to Seattle. His great-great grandparents were among the early settlers of Ballard, his grandmother in the first graduating class of Ballard High. Scott currently lives on a small bay on Puget's Sound in a home he built from scratch. Scott Cochrane is from a family of Irish immigrants native to Seattle. His great-great grandparents were among the early settlers of Ballard, his grandmother in the first graduating class of Ballard High. Scott currently lives on a small bay on Puget's Sound in a home he built from scratch. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Puget Sound and then The Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, CA. (M.A. and Ph.D.) He has taught for more than thirty years, including at The Claremont Colleges, The University of Washington, Tacoma campus, and for the past 11 years, chairing the Philosophy Department at Tacoma Community College.
