He's been researching the Oak Island mystery for more than twenty years and is related to several of the island's earliest treasure hunters. He's also been a Freemason for fourteen years and has family ties to the mysterious beginnings of Freemasonry in North America. He is a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Masonic Rosicrucian.
