Santosh K. Gupta is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). He received his B.Tech. from IITK, and his M.S. and Ph. D. from the University of Pennsylvania, all in Chemical Engineering. His research interests lie in the areas of polymerizations, and the modeling, optimization and control of Chemical Engineering systems. Santosh K. Gupta is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). He received his B.Tech. from IITK, and his M.S. and Ph. His research interests lie in the areas of polymerizations, and the modeling, optimization and control of Chemical Engineering systems. He has over 180 research articles published in international journals and has received the 1987 Herdillia Award for excellence in basic research in chemical engineering by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers.
