Sandy Young is a contemporary award-winning artist whose work spans multiple artistic disciplines, from mixed media, glass, painting and printmaking to short-form motion art video and installation. Ever innovating, she has developed her own methods for creating imagery in glass and has received multiple awards for her unique art. Her work can be found in collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. Young's dedication to artistic expression follows a successful career as a Photo-illustrator for clients such as TIME Magazine, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Sony Music, TIME Global and a multitude of other publications. A native of California, Sandy Young received a B.S. in "Materials, Techniques and Form" from M.I.T., studied Product Design at Stanford University and Printmaking through U.C. Berkeley. See less
