When Samuel Young isn't trying to pen a novel he is an elementary school teacher, a father, and an avid explorer of mountainous regions. Growing up in Upstate New York he transplanted himself into the American Southwest several years ago. As he grew accustomed to the area he fell into the hiking world. His hikes have taken him around the country, from Mt. Whitney, to the ageless Adirondacks.
