Samata Pattinson is an award-winning womenswear designer, author and producer with her own fashion label, Samata. In 2011 she won Suzy Amis Cameron's international Red Carpet Green Dress competition to create a red carpet gown from sustainable materials. Samata is now the Global Campaign Director of Red Carpet Green Dress, working between Los Angeles, New York and London, with international brands including Vivienne Westwood, Reformation and Stella McCartney. Listed by Red magazine as 'one to watch' in their 'Top 20 women under the age of 30' in 2011, Samata is also a guest lecturer at a number of fashion colleges including the London College of Fashion, Central St Martins, Berkeley and ESMOD and has written for The Guardian, Vogue UK AND Cison .
