SaDonna Rogers survived the tornado of April 10, 1979 in Wichita Falls, TX when she was 12 years old. It was the catalyst and inspiration for her series about DeLaine Reynolds. A life-long friend planted the seed for DeLaine's story a year after Terrible Tuesday of 1979 and it grew over the next 30+ years. Ms. Rogers has lived all over Texas her entire life and loves its rich heritage and history. She now resides in Goliad, TX with a menagerie of dogs and cats.
