Ruth Yunker is a writer, humorist, photographer, and traveler. She has been writing for thirty years and has published short stories, magazine articles, and book reviews. She wrote a gently tongue-in-cheek column about the eccentricities of the arty community of Laguna Beach's local paper. She has published two books about being a polite and happy American in Paris doing it their way. Her current book, stories about facing the third trimester of life with joy, power and above all, humor, comes about from having lived a multi-faceted life, which included living all over the country and sometimes, overseas, marrying twice, raising two children, caring for both her parents through their final years. Ruth Yunker is a student of life, and an amateur, but enthusiastic, sociologist. She also believes in yoga for all the answers and ice cream for dessert. See less
