Dr. Blaylock attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his internship and neurological residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is the 2004 recipient of the Integrity in Science Award granted by the Weston A. Price Foundation. He serves on the editorial staffs of the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association, Surgical Neurology International, and the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, official publication of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. He also serves as the assistant editor-in-chief for the journal Surgical Neurology International and is a reviewer for the journal Food & Chemical Toxicology among other journals.
