Russell Charles Leong is professor of English and Asian American studies at the University of California at Los Angeles, former editor of the journal Amerasia , and author of several books, including Phoenix Eyes and Other Stories (University of Washington Press, 2000) and Moving the Image: Independent Asian Pacific American Media Arts (UCLA Asian American Studies Center Press, 1992).
