Her second novel, The Folded Earth, was published this year in the UK and India. She was the winner of the Picador-Outlook Non-fiction Award in 2004. Anuradha Roy was educated in Hyderabad, Calcutta and Cambridge (UK). Her journalism and book reviews have been widely published. She is an editor at Permanent Black, an independent press publishing in South Asian history, politics and culture.
