Rovshan Abbasov

Rovshan Abbasov was born in Imishli, Azerbaijan. He received his PhD In Geography and since 2010 was a Fulbright fellow in the University of California, Davis. Rovshan Abbasov was born in Imishli, Azerbaijan. He received his PhD In Geography and since 2010 was a Fulbright fellow in the University of California, Davis. He is a head of the Environmental Research Centre and Department of Geography and Environment, Khazar University.Since 2007 Rovshan Abbasov is a consultant in international organizations, such as UNDP, UNICEF and Worldbank. He served as Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Changes and Environmental officer of several organizations. He is double recipient of the Fulbright Award for 2007 and 2010. He has published extensively on topics related to water management, hydrology and environmental management. Since 2007 he was registered as a professional hydrologist by American Institute of Hydrology. He enjoys a family life and is the father of two sons. See less
