Ronald R. Huffman is a practicing landscape architect, community planner and historian who has been practicing in the Atlanta area for more than twenty-five years. He holds multiple degrees from Auburn University, including in landscape architecture and community planning from the School of Architecture and Fine Arts and History with a concentration in historic preservation from the College of Liberal Arts. He has served as an adjunct professor to the School of Architecture at Southern Polytechnic University, where he taught classes in environmental planning and landscape architecture. He is also a past president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is a self-taught part-time artist with deep southern roots that go back to the pre-Civil War South in north Alabama. He sees art in the history that surrounds him and enjoys drawing these unique treasures. He has always enjoyed the fine art and craft of pencil drawing.
