Romita Ray
Romita Ray is Associate Professor of Art History at Syracuse University. She received her M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in art history from Yale University, and her B.A. degree in art history from Smith College. Ray is the author of Under the Banyan Tree: Relocating the Picturesque in British India (2013) and is currently writing a book about tea in colonial India.
