Roger Lee Emerson
Roger Lee Emerson, nephew of Governor Lee Emerson, grew up in Barton and returns annually to the Northeast Kingdom. A graduate of Dartmouth, Brown, and Brandeis, he taught history at The University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), MIT, and The University of Western Ontario, from which he retired in 1999.
