Robert Z. Hicks retired after teaching speech communication three years at Penn State, and twenty-four years at the University of Hawaii. Retirement ended when Bob was inspired to write a children's rhyming story, and discovered research that rhyming helped children learn to read. He felt he had a new God-given purpose in life.
