Robert Weingarten

Robert Weingarten was born in 1941 and raised in New York City. His photographs have been exhibited widely and are included in numerous collections, including the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Robert Weingarten was born in 1941 and raised in New York City. His photographs have been exhibited widely and are included in numerous collections, including the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Weingarten is the director of the Aperture Foundation (West) and has served as vice chairman of the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts and as a member of the Banking and Monetary Policy Committee.
