Robert W. Rogers

Robert William Rogers (1864-1930) was a renowned Semitist. His dissertation from the University of Leipzig was published as 'Outlines of the History of Early Babylonia' (1895). He was appointed Professor of Exegetical Theology at Drew Theological Seminary in 1893 and remained there until his death. His other major works include 'A History of Babylonia and Assyria, ' 'The Religion of Babylonia and Assyria, ' and 'A History of Ancient Persia'.
