Robert Menzies is a retired school principal who now lives at Hope Island on Queensland's Gold Coast, Australia, with his wife of 36 years, Merilyn. He has been a full-time writer now since his retirement eight years ago. Roberts was brought up on a farm that contained caves and it was from this that the inspiration for 'Beyond the Labyrinth' has come.
