Robert Follett has been a leader over a long career. He headed a small book publishing company that grew large. He was chairman of a large multi-divisional corporation. he has led start-ups as well. Follett has been leader of a number of smaller not-for-profit organizations, including a local civic action group, a land conservancy, and an arts-focused organization. He has also served on the boards of many not-for-profits. From his own experiences as a leader and from what he has observed with many other leaders have come the practical advice, ideas, tools, and helps that form the basis for this book.
