Gardner began his flying career in Alaska while in the U.S. Coast Guard. Over 16 years he was an instructor, charter pilot, designated examiner, freight dog and Director of ASA Ground Schools. Currently, Bob holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, a CFI certificate, and a Ground Instructor's Certificate. In addition, Bob is a Gold Seal Flight Instructor and has been instructing since 1968.
