Rob Burgess

Rob Burgess was born in Whitinsville and grew up in the small town of East Douglas, Massachusetts. He attended Douglas Elementary School and Blackstone Valley Tech High School. He left home after high school and received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematic from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree from Troy State University. Rob Burgess was born in Whitinsville and grew up in the small town of East Douglas, Massachusetts. He attended Douglas Elementary School and Blackstone Valley Tech High School. He left home after high school and received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematic from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree from Troy State University. He spent 23 years flying around and experiencing the world courtesy of the United States Air Force. Upon retiring from the USAF he settled in Belleview, Florida and began a second career as a math teacher at Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida. While teaching, he met fellow author G. Kent who encouraged him to write. Rob was backpacking with Gary and Todd through the wilds of Georgia and Tennessee when this story was born by a campfire. Rob has been married to his college sweetheart for over thirty years. He has six children and three grandchildren with more on the way. See less
