Rick Savage has worked with the NC Department of Natural Resources as a wetland scientist since 2004. He has conducted intensive surveys of wetlands in the Coastal Plain and Piedmont regions including collection and analysis of data on water and soil chemistry, vegetation, amphibians, aquatic macroinvertebrates, hydrology and rapid assessments.
