Rick Lacey is a former BP Senior Financial Analyst turned Novelist. He spent eight years working in various capacities for BP America including several years in BP Exploration in the "belly of the beast" where he gained the knowledge and inside information that makes him uniquely qualified to tell the story of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Rick watched the BP public-relations machine spend over $100 million to perpetuate a fiction before deciding to fight BP on its own terms. In the context of fiction he has revealed a truth so evil, so sinister, and so far reaching that he feared for his own safety and took the precaution of going into hiding until he was able to rush the book into publication. His goal is to expose the truth and incite the American people to demand that BP be forced to divest its US assets, pay all claims and restitution, and leave the hemisphere forever. Rick is convinced that thinking readers who factor the exploits of his fictional characters into what they have been told by the controlled media will come away with a more realistic understanding of the events surrounding the worst environmental disaster in the history of mankind. In addition to working for BP, Rick has worked on the deck of a shrimp boat operating in the waters between Bayou La Batre, Alabama and Grand Isle, Louisiana. He has been to Valdez where he investigated the cause of the Exxon Valdez disaster. He has traveled to The City of London and to New Orleans. He has been to the locations and has met the people and wants readers to appreciate that he did everything possible to craft a realistic and believable story. He promises the ending will shock you and leave you re-evaluating everything you thought you knew about the disaster and the organization of the world. He encourages all readers to comment and will respond to any questions. See less
