Rick Kaletsky is owner of Rick Kaletsky, Safety Consultant, which specializes in hazard recognition, site inspections, and citation resolution. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked for the USDOL/OSHA for twenty years, where he served as an occupational safety and health specialist and assistant area director in OSHA's Connecticut offices. As such, he conducted hundreds of compliance inspections (and reviewed thousands), and also successfully negotiated hundreds of settlement agreements with employers. A sought-after speaker on occupational safety and health, he has been a faculty member of the Council on Education in Management, the National Business Institute, the Institute of Business Law, and several colleges. He is an editorial advisory panel member for the Bureau of Business Practice and an advisory panel member for Business & Legal Reports. Mr. Kaletsky has also served as chapter vice president of the American Society of Safety Engineers and program committee chairman of the Connecticut Safety Society (as well as captain of the safety patrol at L. Wheeler Beecher School), and is a member of the National Safety Council. He is the sole lecturer in the videotape "Employee Safety: Protecting Yourself and Your Fellow Workers" (produced/sponsored by Wausau Insurance and the Metal Treating Institute).
