Rick Abel

Rick Abel grew up in the Chicago suburbs, where the nearest thing to adventure was a night of camping in a backyard tent. He wanted to give his two boys the experiences he'd never had, so took them on wilderness vacations when they were kids. He kept journals to document their time together - writing nightly, by lantern light - which serve as the source for his stories. Talkeetna River Adventure is number two in the Buzz and The Little Guy adventure series, and is Rick's third children's book.
