Richard Jolly is Honorary Professor and Research Associate of the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. He was UNICEF's Deputy Executive Director (1982-1995), Principal Coordinator and co-author of UNDP's widely acclaimed Human Development Report (1996-2000) and Co-Director of the UN Intellectual History Project (2000-2010).
