RICHARD JASNOW is Professor of Egyptology at Johns Hopkins University. He has authored A Late Period Hieratic Wisdom Text (P. Brooklyn 47.218.135) (The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, 1992) and The Ancient Egyptian Book of Thoth(Harrassowitz, 2005; with Karl-Theodor Zauzich).
