Richard F Welch

Richard F. Welch is adjunct professor of history at C. W. Post College, Long Island University. Since 1991 he has served as editor of the "Long Island Forum, and his previous publications include "Long Island: An illustrated History(200), An Island's Trade (1993), and "Memento Mori, the Gravestone of Early Long Island, 1680-1801 (1990). he is also a contributor to the forthcoming "Encyclopedia of New York.
