Rich Hunsinger is an American writer, illustrator, gaming consultant and owner/operator of the Sea Snipers(R) video game team. Rich Hunsinger is an American writer, illustrator, gaming consultant and owner/operator of the Sea Snipers(R) video game team. With a BFA in illustration from the University of the Arts, his writing career started in 2005 when he authored the multiplayer section, as well as illustrated all single and multiplayer maps, for the Official Socom 3 Strategy Guide published by Piggyback Interactive. Since then he has written ten official strategy guides for video games including the Call of Duty series, Halo and Socom series of games. In addition, he has illustrated/published well over a thousand maps for more than twenty-five video game titles and gaming apps. The consulting work he and the Sea Snipers(R) produced for Infinity Ward on MW3 and Ghosts prompted Infinity Ward to include the Sea Snipers(R) logo as an unlockable emblem in both titles. It also opened the door for Rich to work with former Call of Duty producers to design seven unique levels for Reload Studios' World War Toons VR game. For the past several years, he has worked closely with the Sea Snipers(R) to develop their own unique universe and bring the first part of the story to the public with their first installment in graphic novel format.
